Castleton House dates from 1902. Castleton House is most attractive stone built mansion house, which sits within it’s own private and sheltered grounds. The property was constructed in 1902, for Sir Thomas Wedderspoon, and was in private ownership until 1989 when it was converted to an award winning country house hotel with a separate cottage to the rear.
